The paperback was as described. It was intact, quite yellowed but does not look like it has ever been read. The price was very low as compared to a newer printed one at $77!

This book is the most practical and easy to use dream interpretation book I have ever come across. I have read many books over the years, and this is the only one which teaches you to personalise your dream interpretation instead of just referring you to a dream dictionary, which is not much better than a generic horoscope in the daily times. It truly demystifies your dreams. I have got more out of the knowledge this book teaches than consulting a Jungian therapist with my dreams. Well worth it.

I have always wondered what my wierd, wacky dreams might tell me about my life.

Do they have something to do with what I just watched on tv before turning off the lights? Or am I really that strange of a human being? Maybe the dreams are related to what is going on around me.

This book clears these things up....to a point. The reason I say "to a point" is that I would have liked more examples and details in each category. Then, I would have given the book 5 stars. :D

One summer using this book I wrote down my dreams every morning. As time went by I found all the things she mentioned in my dreams - puns, advice for my life solutions to some problems (alas, not all). A very interesting book. But you have to stick with it - at first I didn't believe there could be puns in my dreams but after writing them down first thing in the morning for a few weeks, I began to remember so much more of my dreams that I found all kinds of interesting things in them.

Both books(Dream Game), one hard cover and one soft cover, arrived in fine condition. I had read this as a library book back in 1984 and loved it. I found it to be the best book out there that explained dreams in a way that I could relate, in a way that made sense, in a way that helped me to understand my own dreams. It helped me to see what my dreams were telling me and I found that to be very significant at that time in my life. I've told many others about The Dream Game. Recently, in my own home, I renovated a room into a library and knew I wanted The Dream Game included as one of my favorite books.

After having spent time in Gestalt therapy as well as other modalities, I recognize that this concise yet packed book of information is compelling, insightful and honest. Dr. Faraday is excellent. Her insights about symbols in dreams as well as her narrative style make this book hugely informative and important. It should never have gone out of print. It is priceless! Also, I add that there is a wonderful index that's wonderful as a springboard.
