Review
Terrorism stalks America. Keating's whose insider counter espionage detail rings true on every page. -- John OMahony, New York Post.
The Final Jihad is real I have trouble calling it fiction. Sources are impeccable; his insights into terrorists are uncanny. -- Jerry L. Emmons, former agent in charge, Tulsa office, FBI
The Final Jihad, a haunting novel that never lets you go. Its prophetic may be the terrorists actual blueprint. -- Richard Wilson, King Features Syndicate

About the Author
Martin Keating is a master storyteller with unique access to government intelligence agencies and clandestine terrorist groups. His brother Frank Keating, serving as Governor of Oklahoma until January 2003, is a former FBI agent and assistant secretary of the Treasury who supervised the Secret Service, U.S. Customs, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms. Keatings uncle, Barney Martin, was a career intelligence officer who headed the U.S. Navys worldwide foreign intelligence collection operations and counterintelligence activities.
Introduced to the intelligence community through generations of family involvement, Martin Keating knows intimate details of what the rest of us can only imagine. Armed with firsthand knowledge of explosives and of chemical and biological weapons, Keating accurately reveals what the highest government officials have known, feared, and covered up for much too long.

Highly recommend this book for required reading. Outstanding "connect the dots" thinking and application using very plausible real-world scenarios! The only recommendation I would have made is literary in nature, that being to have more distinct break points within chapters when the scene/location or action changes to a different thought. Even a short horizontal would have been sufficient to clue the reader in a change of the flow.
Very well researched all around! I found it hard to put down with all of the fast-paced action!

How anyone who as actually read this book can claim it was written BEFORE the OKC bombing is beyond me.
On page 14 you have an airport security guard demanding a form 670 (sic - as the form is actually a N-670 airport access form for DFW, which did not exist until after 9/11/01) from terrorists pretending to catering truck driver.......
On page 44 you have a FBI meeting at the J. Edgar Hoover Bldg. in DC with the sentence: "A few saw a connection to the Oklahoma City Bombing and to other more recent actions by "homegrown" terrorists."
Need I go any further?
How about the fact that the Concorde never flew outta DFW to IAD after 1988?
This book is a total load of hogwash and there nothing sinister or enlightening about it other than the fact it appears author has profited off the tragedy of innocents which should be a crime.

Bought a copy based on a recommendation from another site about author's
so called "prescient foreknowledge' of events leading up to OKC bombing. Didn't
realize it was a novel, and a bad one at that. Starts with the usual gimmics to
get you hooked in, sex and profanity. After the first few pages I knew this one
was headed for the garbage dump, but kept reading because of possible insights I
might gain from the authors 'prescient foreknowledge". After another 60 pages of
reading I started thinking how the author got "Tom Mcvay" to be a character in the
story. The date of the OKC bombing is April 1995. The publishing date for the book
is 1996. I guess it doesn't take a genius reader to realize that names and states in
a story can easily be modified before publication in the digital age. This book was a
bad investment and certainly won't be on my shelf.

Uncanny references that align with the Oklahoma City bombing. This is a must-read, very well written.
