The record of the persecution of German-Canadian heretic Ernst Zundel by a de facto Sanhedrin, for publishing the book, 'Did Six Million Really Die?' is almost too fantastic to countenance. Zundel was prosecuted in Toronto under an archaic False News provision of an old Edwardian legal code. He faced two years in prison if convicted. In response, he put the so-called Holocaust' itself on trial. Zundel's defense was initially regarded by the press and public as preposterous. How can anyone 'deny the Holocaust?' was the incredulous response to the news that Zundel would vigorously defend himself and the free speech rights of all Canadians. The trial was expected to be a quick and ignominious rout of Zundel and his supporters. But in a startling reversal, the 'survivors' who had appeared in court in order to send him to jail, had to submit their testimony to scrutiny, the rules of evidence and cross-examination, something that had never happened before and has never happened since. Canadians grew ever more surprised and shocked at the amazing admissions which the defense team elicited from the supposed eyewitnesses to the homicidal gas chambers. As a result, television reporters and print journalists who covered the 1985 trial produced broadcasts and news reports that turned Canada upside down.

Zundel was tried again in 1988. This time he assembled the 'Leutcher Report,' an on-site forensic examination of Auschwitz by 'Mr. Death,' Fred Leutcher, capital punishment engineer for the U.S. prison system. When Zundel could not be silenced by the Canadian courts, his enemies turned to bombs, arson and the dungeons of Zionist Germany.

In the face of relentless repression and vilification, Ernst Zundel continues to steadfastly maintain both his right to dissent and his dignity as a human being.

A well documented--although at times coloured--piece of journalism that covers the series of trials laid against Ernst Zundel from 1985-1988 as he fought the Canadian government for the right to publish literature that questioned the veracity of the Holocaust. He was up against the Jewish Defense League, the Zio-Media groups, and a pseudo-Marxist legal system that all realized that silencing early revisionist intellectuals was an absolute necessity if the artificially engineered social paradigms of the 20th century were to remain intact. This 200 page journal runs through all the stages of his legal defense, includes personal stories, and is, in general, an excellent take on an important event--the only time the Jewish "Holocaust" was ever examined in a court of law that actually demanded forensic evidence and scientific scrutiny. The now famous "Leuchter Report" is also covered in the material. Michael Hoffman's work is an excellent piece of cultural history which many will disdainfully push aside. For those who willingly desire a fair and liberal pursuit of socially unacceptable truths, this little book is a shining example of how they can be achieved...

By reading, Douglas Reeds also seminal "The Controversy of Zion," about what WW1/2 were really about and by whom and Juri Lina's, "Under the Sign of the Scorpion," about the "Russian" "Revolution." as well as Christopher Bollyn's book on 911, you will be freed.

How can one ethnic group be allowed to run the movie creating the emotional mind control levers of the world for a 100 years?
How can one ethnic group run the central banks of the West and most of the world... largely... timing economic cycles and therefor having control over the ultimate causes of wars and of emotional political action?
How can one ethnic group start and dominate the "Russian," "Revolution?" Tt was not Russia largely and it was not financed by Russians but rather by American Jews again largely... on Wall Street. Zionists to allow the immigration of Jews to Palestine and elsewhere can not be spoken aloud or that he allowd the escape of the English Army at Dunkirk or that he had he second in command fly to England hoping for peace. By Zion would have none of it.

A great account of the trials of Ernst Zundel, a brave and determined advocate of free speech.

Goes to show no matter how good your defence, how stunning the array of credible witnesses, how utterly biased (bought out) judges were in both trials, when the powers that be want you silenced, truth doesn't matter and silence must be enforced.

The defence of Zundel was truly heroic, he had what had to be the best defence lawyer in Canada, excellent support team, and endurance to withstand the cowardly assaults by the lobby that was threatened with exposure. Holocaust revisionists won an important victory despite the final outcomes of the trials.

This should be mandatory curriculum in every high school, but of course that will never happen while the talmudists are still in charge. This eye-opening account of the Great Holocaust Trial is riveting. If only I had paid attention to these trials in the 1980s already! The daily news spewing forth in the MSM was back-ground noise to me at the time, and I only had a vague sense that Ernst Zundel must have been kind of a crazy or a bad man, not to be taken seriously. That is how he was more-or-less portrayed. How different the reality is!

One day there will be monuments everywhere to the great late hero Ernst Zundel. Thank you Michael Hoffman for your steadfast reporting, and your persistence in telling it like it is.

Actually, I would give it 3.5 stars, but no can do here. I very much liked the work; I generally like Michael Hoffman, although I realize that reading his work can require patience. He writes as most scholars do with pretty sophiscated diction and sentence structure. I am a retired Wall Street trial attorney, so this does not bother me much, but it can be tiring. Far more important, his collection of the data and evidence is very compelling, and he presents his point of view (arguments) very well. A lot can be learned from this book. The only reason I didn't give 4 stars (which I was going to) is because I would have preferred more quoting of direct and cross actual testimony rather than Hoffman's summary and opinions of same. That's probably just me. I have a "developed ear" for reading for nuance in cold records, i.e., written testimony. Nonetheless, this is a very good book, informative and presents evidence/controversy for a different point of view than what we usually get. I will keep this book (kindle) in my library and refer to it.
