Starting off with what you probably want to see: The Con: This product is VERY expensive. The way it is package, you can probably only get 2/3 of the product out. When you're paying $4/ounce of lotion, that is a lot. When you think a tube is empty, cut it open and scoop the rest out with your finger; you'll be SHOCKED at how much you miss. Until they fix the packaging for this I'm going to stay at 4 stars.
Is it on the pricey side? Yes, of course it is. However, it is: A) USDA organic B) EXTREMELY effective
I keep a couple tubes of this balm around the house for multiple functions:
In the bitter cold of winter, my hands get extremely chapped and the skin cracks. Some of this Honest balm on them seems to heal them up in 1-2 days.
Works like a charm on any areas of redness in my kids' diapers. I've only had one bad case of diaper rash, and this worked to clear it up within a day.
Overall: I'd recommend this over any other lotion. Just follow up recommendation on the packaging.
Really great balm - it does have an odd smell. It is not unpleasant, but it's not fragrant per se. It worked miracles on our baby's dry skin and eczema last winter, and we use it all the time for scrapes and irritations, etc. The formulation does separate a little, but hasn't affected its effectiveness.

This stuff works wonders on any little scrape or diaper rash my daughter might get. She calls it her "boo-boo cream".
One tip I have is some bottles or batches seem to be more oily then others. No amount of massaging the bottle, tipping it upside down or trying to shake it fixes it. It seemed to be better if we propped it up upside down so the oil would drain by gravity to the back of the tube.
Our fix for the oily batches/bottles is to squeeze a little of the oil out into a tissue or wipe before we squeeze the cream out. That seemed to resolve the issue with he bottles that had too much oil in them.
I would rate this a 5 if not for the batch/bottle inconsistencies (too much oil). Overall I'm happy with my purchase.
Doctor's office recommended for skin left itchy, red and raised from a medicine patch. Left on overnight, there were amazing results the very next day. Use sparingly as it comes out of the tube thick and spreads better after leaving on your hand for a moment to warm it up. No fragrance, so glad we found it.
This stuff is magic. My daughter has super sensitive skin and this balm works without irritating. I've used it on diaper rash, small patches of eczema, bumps and scratches and seemingly overnight, it clears it up. It's a little messy because no matter how much kneading of the tube, the product is separated when you squeeze it out. I usually squeeze it into a tissue first (it's mostly oil), until the good stuff comes out. That's a bit wasteful, which I don't love, but it's worth it. I've been sort of "meh" about The Honest Company's other baby products, but this is one I love and trust.
We love this product. My son has very sensitive skin in addition to a number of food sensitivities. More often than not we find out about his food allergies when he gets a very red, raw diaper rash. A fellow mommy told me about this product. We apply this generously when he goes to bed and usually he is 90% better by the next morning. It is expensive but a little goes a long way and it usually corrects the problem quickly.
Have used on my face for the past two years. Keeps moisturized year-round, but especially through winter. use also on my heels, elbows and sometimes hands, in winter. but, its hard to find lotions that do not let my facial skin break out. this is the best I've found.
