A Great Read. The quotes in this book are some of the most interesting, worthwhile words that have ever been said or written. From Friedrich Nietzsche to Louis C.K., from Stephen Hawking to Tina Fey, there is fabulous content from cover to cover in this book, and after reading through it in one day, (I couldn't stop) I now plan to open this book every day at random and get a quote. This read left me feeling very philosophical and fulfilled, pondering and wondering about the beauty and the meaning of life!

Although I'm not an atheist myself, I found my personal beliefs to be no hindrance to enjoying this beautiful, inspirational collection of words by some of our greatest thinkers, poets, and observers of the wondrous world we live in. Talented author Buzzy Jackson does a wonderful job of selecting, organizing, and framing these quotes, and her commitment to verifying each quote's attribution by researching primary sources is a commendable (and all-too-rare!) feature of a book intended for enjoyment by a non-scholarly audience. A perfect way to bring in the New Year and beyond!

I like this book a lot. I have been keeping it on my desk and read the quotes here and there. I am not actually an atheist but I think the book is a good collection of quotes and ideas regardless of your spiritual beliefs.

There was great care in putting the collection together. It is well rounded, organized and you can tell that it was well researched. This might sound weird, but its also a really nice size and weight. Its a small paperback so not heavy to carry around, but not so small you cannot read it. And it doesn't have just one quote per page like some books so their isn't a bunch of wasted space.

I received this book for free from Goodread's First Reads, but some of the proceeds go to Doctor's without Borders so you can feel extra good about the purchase.
