To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Delingpole can be serious and hilarious at the same time. Whenever I spot anything he has written, be it an op-ed piece, essay, or book, I buy it. I have become a big fan because he is just so darn entertaining while educating. While reading this book, the entertainment factor never faltered. I gave this book to a college sophomore recently, in an attempt to save him from the loony propaganda of eco-fascists (aka "watermelons").

Delightful witty presentation of facts to counter the brain washing to which we're being subjected.

Thre's a clear power agenda spending billions of dollars to convince the population we must relinquish private property, personal choice and independence to "save the environment.". Almost all great solutions and scientific advances have come through free people motivated by free markets, This little treasure in dictionary format shares who the players are and how facts are being perverted.

In list format a "dictionary" of modern junk science and political agendas

Very---Very--- Funny., Exposing the weakness in the machinery...(probably, most likely scenario, tends to be, generally) I was hoping for a little more on the numbers but as this was purposefully humor driven as was the purchase, I quickly forgave. I enjoyed the sharp tooth witticisms that constructed a generalized view of how badly environmentalism has run a-muck...Delingpole directs a cattle prod at a winging bunch that has been so indoctrinated with themselves and their love of -Eco- driven lifestyles that he exposes them for the corruption that smothers their enchanted forest.

Hard to be Delingpole. He is excellent.

Having read the ungodly tedious IPCC reports, many of the scientific papers themselves, many of the Climategate emails, almost all of the FOIA requests for raw data, and staying abreast of the discussions by those directly involved in the whole debate (which is NOT over), I found this book to be fun.
You can pick it up and turn to any page, and get enlightened.
I loved seeing so many little snippets of the nonsense spewed by the climate alarmists.
Having worked in scientific research for many years, it's refreshing to see both sides of the discussion. It's also good to see that there are those that are demanding to see all the data.

A fun book to get the gist of the mad Green plan
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on November 18, 2019Verified Purchase
And what a plan it is! Pure evil genius and the hoards are lapping it up. To the rescue come our spoddy walking talking text-book saviours like Delingpole who thankfully read a heck of a lot and have retentive memories. Luckily for us Delingpole delivers what must have been brain-numbing tedium to research down into a handy A-Z guide with lashings of humour. By the end I was properly up to speed on this whole Eco-thing and had done a major U-ey on ever voting Green again.

Enjoyed this book, lots of good information to argue your case. Light hearted but with some serious points to be made.

Great read, but very scientific explanations

Can be heavy going, with a leaning towards very technical arguments. Worth persevering with. Great to hear the other side of this issue which is kept hidden by politicians and media. Needs to be heard.
