This is a fun, entertaining, and educational game. Given a limited number of pipes, elbows, T-junctions, etc., you have to connect all the pipe fittings on the edge of the game board. Sometimes it's not just a question of which ones you use, but the order (pipe-elbow-elbow-pipe may not word the same as pipe-pipe-elbow-elbow!) you put them on the board. I have seen similar games in the past (I don't recall any names) and this one seems at least on par with them. There are even board games based on this idea where you use cards showing the pipe pieces. I have always loved this kind of game, so I'm probably a bit biased, but the graphics are very nice, the gameplay is smooth, the tiles go where you want them (this publisher's Montezuma games were having some issues with tiles "jumping" an inch or two above your finger when you were dragging them...that hasn't happened on this game). There are 100 levels getting progressively more difficult by introducing things like pipes that go over or under other pipes, T and + connectors, etc.
There are no permissions, no ad networks, no hidden code snippets, the game exits cleanly with no background processes, no IAPs. Oak Team really has it figured out when it comes to privacy. The game plays without WiFi or data connection, so you can take it with you on your commute, camping trips, or the kids can play in the car without burning through your data plan.
There is the "rate-me" nag, but even on that, I have to give the developers kudos for not breaking into the game every three levels. It looks like they've learned their lesson and are only going to ask at startup. (And you can always try hitting the button then back-arrowing out without actually leaving a review...that seems to get rid of the nag on some tablets and phones.) There is a facebook button and a link to the dev's other games on the menu page, but given that they've removed ALL the permissions and security issues...I'm not even going to take a star away for that (THIS TIME. lol).
Outstanding game play. No permissions. No privacy concerns. I wish every developer made their games this way. This will definitely go on my daughter's tablet because I know it won't have to worry about her privacy.
I was so very excited to play this game because it was the free app of the day, so I did download it. And now I realize it is horrible for four reasons. Here there are:
• First, the game developers made it that in every level, they ask for a review. IT IS WAY TOO CONSTANT THE TIMES THAT THEY ASK FOR REVIEWS.
• Second, the game gives you unlimited hints, which makes the game pointless because when you press the hints lots of times on one level, the way how to connect the pipes is reviled. Which makes the whole concept of the game pointless.
• Third, Premium? No way this game is the premium. This has ads asking me if I want to date. And I don't. If you'd actually paid money for this, you would totally regret it.
• Fourth, if anyone actually spent money on this game, it is a waste. There's ads IN THE PREMIUM VERSION. THERE'S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ADS.
In conclusion, do not buy this game if you want to save your time, your money, and the space on your device. I can honestly say that these kind of developers who make games like this, should be banned from making games. BOTHERSOME BORING POINTLESS! >:( SUCKS HATE DO NOT GET !
I haven't played all the levels yet but the ones I have done have been enjoyable. Some are very simplistic while others make you do a double take and actually think a little. The graphics aren't spectacular but they are a nice blend of colors that are easy on the eyes. The movement is fluid and there is no lag. When you complete a puzzle and move to the next one the change is very smooth. A major plus in my book is being able to play off line. It seems most developers are requiring a constant Internet connection when it simply isn't necessary. In most cases it's for data mining, licence checking, ads or social networking. The only negative I've found with this game is the constant in your face nag screen about reviewing the game. I understand the desire to have your product reviewed so you can see how your game is seen by the people playing it. Unfortunately there are many immature people out there that will give a poor review out if spite because of this type of nagging. Hopefully they tone down the frequency of the review nag. After every level is simply way too much. Maybe a nice genuine request between each puzzle group. But even with the over nag for a review I felt this game deserved the full 5 stars. I will update if needed as I progress through the levels.
Gioco bello e divertente, ottima grafica e usabilità. Comunque 5 stelle meritate
