Incomplete at best, a total whitewash at worst
on August 24, 2012
This work of fiction hand-tooled by Freeh to give the PSU board of trustees what they paid for is at best an incomplete investigation gained through anecdotal opinions through interviews with PSU employees who weren't even under oath. If you believe ANY of this, you need to be in the market for swamp land in the Sahara. Failing to interview the principle players in the Sandusky scandal, PSU AD Tim Curley, ex-PSU head football coach Joe Paterno, PSU VP for Business Affairs Gary Schultz, ex-PSU Pres. Graham Spanier, and ex-Asst. football coach Mike McQueary, this report couldn't be called thorough on ANY level. The public at large fails to understand this is an incomplete internal review of PSU employees, and some people who could have weighed in with significant facts aren't even questioned, like the board members and employees of Sandusky's Second Mile charity, the DA of Centre Co. Ray Gricar who failed to indict Sandusky after the 1998 investigation and who later mysteriously disappeared in 2005, PA Gov. Tom Corbett who investigated Sandusky in 2009 as then PA Attorney General, and Sandusky himself, currently awaiting sentencing for being convicted of 45 counts of felony child sexual abuse and assault. Thorough? Complete? Comprehensive? Not in a pig's valise, buddy! This whitewash rivals the Warren Commission Report as a rush to judgment work of fiction at best.
