    I still have my old Strawberry Switchblade LP and I absolutely love it. It's a bit gothic, but not entirely. Some of their singles were not included in their only LP. There is a Japanese CD re-issue of their only LP with loads of non-album tracks which is not bad at all. It's great! But a bit pricey and the good songs are all in this cheap CD. The sound is wonderful in both CDs and both covers are beautiful. This Platinum collection has fewer songs. 4 songs were omitted but, honestly, they're not that good. The other 16 tracks are the excellent ones and they're all here. There's nothing in the booklet -- I wish it had lyrics. The Japanese one includes the lyrics, but it seems they were very poorly transcribed by some Japanese person, so they're useless.

    Since I'm a die-hard fan, I bought both CDs, but, to be honest with you, the Platinum Collection is really all you need. It's a perfect CD.

    They are a band I sort \of forgot about until I heard one of their songs the other day. It was like a blast from the past and I remembered how much I liked them back in the day. For fans of this band, this covers all of their best known songs and a few more. For l;ess than $10 for the MP3 download it is a good buy.

    The songs in the Cd are very sweet and mellow, and the seller mailed this on time; my 3 star rating has more to do with the CD itself. Although the CD can play on a CD player fine; it becomes static like and you can't hear the songs on anything digital. So if I play this on my computer, or try to put songs on my Ipod; I get alot of static and can barely hear the songs.

    Strawberry Switchblades time in the hit parade was short lived. They deserved more success than they received. This CD is made up primarily of the tracks from their debut self titled album from 1985. The only real hits they had were Let Her Go which reached the lofty position of #59, their cover of Dolly Parton's Jolene #53 and their biggest hit was Since Yesterday which got to #5 on the UK charts.

    The CD sounds great. It doesn't say if it's been remastered but it sure sounds like it. I've never heard the single Jolene before but I assume that the version presented here is the 12" version as it clocks in at 6:12.

    It's great to finally have this album on CD.

    i have not purchased this although I was quite suprised that there was actually a "greatest of.." collection by SS around. I figured that there were few people besides me in the States who had even heard of them. these girls are hot in a cute, candy sort of way and take me back to high school and dressing in black eyeliner and enjoying the explosion of funky alternative music and fashion. I had their deput album on vinyl then, and many many years later found a japanese import on CD. it is one of the prize pieces in my CD collection. I also was able to find "Jolene", a remake that Dolly herself would be proud of. In my modest opinion, the three big hits for them were "Since Yesterday", "Jolene", and "Let Her Go", but other people might enjoy their slower tracks. They were a great duo who could have, I think, evolved into something magical. But oh well...

    Ich hatte mir 1985 das Album von Strawberry Switchblade als LP gekauft und war damals begeistert. Fast alle Lieder auf dem Album sind schöne, eingängige Melodien und wirken etwas melancholisch verträumt.

    Die Collection enthält fast alle Songs, die auch auf dem ersten Album von Strawberry Switchblade enthalten sind. Es fehlt nur "Who Knows what love is(reprise)".

    Wer also einfach nur die ehemalige LP als CD sucht, wird hier eigentlich schon fündig.

    Der Gesang von Strawberry Switchblade wirkt sehr harmonisch und erinnert an die ersten Alben von "Bananarama" (z.B. Cheers Then) bzw. "Voice Of The Beehive".

    Since Yesterday ist wohl der beste Song auf dem Album. Dahinter folgen "Secrets", "Deep Water", "Another Day", "Let Her Go" und "Go Away".

    収録曲が既発アルバム「ふたりのイエスタディ +9」から4曲抜けていて、
    かつ変な曲順（前半はシングル曲だけど発売順じゃない）なので
    今までのCDを持っているファンとしては買う必要がないように思った。
    けれども大好きなのでコレクションとして買ってみた。でも買って正解。
    なんと「I Can Feel」がシングルバージョンじゃなく、demoバージョンなんです！
    このバージョンは初めて聞いたし、そもそも存在を知らなかった。
    ファンやマニアにはおすすめです。この1曲のためだけですが・・・
