For us ladies who love watching a baby story or the business of being born or maternity ward this is right up your alley. it's a very well made show because they document from when the mother comes into the hospital until she has her baby and they will show things going wrong however they won't show (thank god) Losing any babies to my knowledge. I've cried during a few episodes sad & happy tears lol. Has a lot of very funny moments too. a++

A must watch show! I love looking at this show because you will learn a lot about labor and delivery. Some scenarios are scary, but it will show you that all labors are not perfect. Great show for first-time mothers or any woman in particular.

I really enjoyed this particular birthing stream from Amazon Prime. From the fiesty grandmas who got in a fight of taking pictures of the grandbaby to the touching stories of some mother's struggling from the loss of a child through miscarraige or right after birth. Their stories about the emotional toll of carrying new babies into the world is so touching. I recommend that everyone take time for this outstanding series.

This is a great series. The nurses are so sweet and funny but just amount of drama. You learn how different each family is regarding their "birth plans" and how "birth plans" are tossed out the window in a manner of seconds if something goes up that wasn't expected.

Really enjoy this series quite a bit. As a dad I really appreciate how this series showcases how personal and unique every birth is for the people involved. There's the predicted drama of the actual labor especially if there are any complications but the show also makes it a point to give us the story behind what a particular birth means to the people involved. Great stuff and really entertaining.

Dysfunctional families, hospital staff portrayed as lazy and not caring, outdated labor and delivery procedures, unnecessary interventions, disparaging portrayal of natural birth. I especially discourage watching when pregnant. It can really bring you down.

I am just going to copy and paste the review I gave for season one.

I was hesitant to get into a series like this, but this one way surpasses the other "giving birth series" I have watched in the past. They don't hold anything back and really get into who the people are rather than just the story of the pregnancy. I still can't believe that there are still women, very few mind you, that refuse the epidural! Then as soon as that baby starts coming out they're like "okay, I want it now, I'll hold the baby in, just give me the meds!"...they should have this series running in a loop on the tv in the room! Bet that would change their minds about their all natural birth plan! So, what I'm getting at is its worth watching, the nurses and some patients are hilarious!

Nice look at L&D. Shows how worthless some families are, and who really should not be allowed to be parents, and how incredible some families are, and how amazing they will be as parents. Hits all ends of the human spectrum.
