This book documents the conversations between the late Shah of Iran and his Court minister for a long period in 1960s and 1970s. It reveals the character of the Shah as never revealed before. It shows how much His Majesty cared for the wellness of his country and its people. Any one interested in understanding how Shah's mindset worked and was about, need to read this great diary. The original has been printed in 6 volumes and this is a random selection of those 6 books. But this is a great read, regardless. I enjoyed reading it and it is highly recommended.

Sheds light on some aspects of Iran's contemporary history. A good book. I mainly read it to ensure the Persian edition had not been manipulated. Happy that I read it. Easy to read. Recommended.
