I have been a fan of Chef Emeril for years and this was by far the best thing he has ever done. From the guest chefs, the locations, the food, the history, the culture, all of it was spectacular! I watched all 6 in a row and was starving for more. I cannot thank both Amazon and Chef Emeril enough for putting this together and I hope there are many more to come!

I love this show!

Emeril is always bringing his audiences into his cooking with his open style and welcoming personality. That is a given. But this show has an unexpected and delightful twist to it. Rather than Emeril teaching us and showing us his mastery we get to see his excitement, passion and curiosity first hand in an open and accessible format. We explore with him and it is very enjoyable to go on this journey with him.

If you enjoy watching food television you will really enjoy this show on so many levels.

Just found this series and really love it. Emeril visits locations I long to travel to. I loved the Nordic episode when he visited Sweden. The history of food preparation and cooking was incredibly interesting. The scenery and lively conversations with those that the chef comes in contact with are quite entertaining.

I love food shows, and this is the best I have ever viewed. Why? It's primarily about the FOOD. The chefs take second stage; no maudlin backgrounds about their sorry childhoods, and other ploys to suck in the audience like a lot of "reality" shows do nowadays, especially Chopped (on the Food Network). Sorry, but their manipulation of our emotions is just sickening. Yes, the chefs on Eat the World are so interesting, and we love hearing their stories on this show, but you can immediately see that all the chefs on Eat The World gladly take second place to their creations. This is such a beautifully done, entertaining, educational series about food, our very sustenance. I just love and so respect what Emeril Lagasse has done with this series.

BAM Emeril! Kudos to you and all your guests! Season two, please!

Better than anything currently on the air on broadcast or cable tv! I laughed and cried watching Chef Emeril interact with people who are as passionate about food (and life) as he is! So many of my favorite places in the world from different perspectives. We need to not just make celebrities out of chefs but learn about cultures and the value of food! A reminder of why Chef Emeril led the Food Network to where it is now. And who knew Mario Batali cursed like a sailor?? Can't wait for the next season of this!

Thank you Amazon! I watched the entire season in one sitting. This was beautifully filmed, instructive and I learned so much. It allowed us to see the intensity of great chefs who are heroes to many of us. People who love their work. Keep it up! This is what a Food Network should be! If they can't do it, Amazon can! And I will pay to see it.

I love this show, takes you away from the routine life and food of the stares. Show takes you to the different part of the world where food is more connected to the nature and a different culture. Can't wait to watch rest of the episodes.
