I loved this whole series!! But Aubrey and Grant's story was special because we saw some of their interactions with each other through the series. It was great to finally know the history behind their divorce. I love these two together. My heart broke when I found out the reasons for their split. I highly recommend this series! Each of these couples bring something different to the table, something with each of them to love. They are their own work family. Great book and series!

Such an emotional journey! Kate Meader saved the best for last when she brought us Grant's story! The Laws of Attraction series has been a lot of fun to read with a group of close knit and hilarious characters. This book took it to a new level with even more emotion and angst than the previous two. I loved it ... and loved how we got an update on them all a little down the road at the end.

Chicago divorce attorney Aubrey Gates told herself she was dealing with her divorce just fine and getting on with her life more every day ... until he brought a date to a function they both had to attend because of shared friends. Seeing him with another woman on his arms gutted her ... but it made being in the same room together again at least tolerable.

Competing divorce attorney Grant Lincoln can't look at Aubrey without seeing the woman who broke his heart. He's not sure if they'll ever be friends again, but when he learns she never told her favorite grandmother that they got a divorce and now has to go home to Boston for her 90th birthday, he can't leave her hanging. He loved her grandmother too, so if it will keep the event happy, he'll play doting husband for a couple of days.

A couple of pages in I knew this was going to be the epic read that the series had been building up to. I wanted to devour it whole, yet at the same time make it last forever to stave off The End. Then Came You lived up to everything I’d imagined and all I’d longed for. It’s Kate Meader at her finest.  

What starts out as a simple favor turns into so much more. Kate Meader brings Aubrey and Grant to life in ways she’d only hinted at in books one and two. She lays bare their souls on an emotional journey to overcome the pain of the past. They expose the excruciating circumstances that tore them apart, and face truths about themselves and each other that they had avoided for far too long. It’s gripping and raw, and I felt their every emotion as if they were my own.

While relationships are dissected, angry words hurled, and tears shed, there’s also much laughter, the bonds of close friendship, and Lawd-have-merceh-is-it-hot-in-here sexxy times. After all, this is a Kate Meader story, and she leaves it all on the page, forcing you through a gamut of emotions. Throughout, I laughed; I cried; and I burned.

Then Came You is by far my favorite Laws of Attraction novel. It may well be my favorite Kate Meader novel overall. So many are 5-star reads it’s hard to choose number one. If you haven’t read Kate or this series, I urge you to treat yourself.

I have no words to describe how fabulous this book was. After meeting Grant in book one I knew he would be my favorite. His story is different in that the woman he wants is Aubrey, his ex wife, who he still loves and still loves him. Even though they act indifferent to each other. Once they begin their long car ride/road trip they have the chance to talk and come to terms with what went wrong and how they didn’t really address the issue that broke them up. Their story had me in tears throughout and I just wanted to shove them in a room together til they admitted they still needed/loved/belonged together. Grant and Aubrey were a wonderful and confused couple. The really balanced each other and were the perfect person for the other. The chemistry between them was crazy hot- even when they acted like they didn’t like each other. But that chemistry was never their issue, obviously. Because when they got together I think my kindle may have melted a little, lol. This was the last book in the series and if you enjoyed the others you will not be disappointed. I think the best book was saved for last and I loved both the other books.

Okay, this book was heavy. The emotion clogging every page was almost too much at times, but I was so invested in this couple I had to keep going. Meader did a wonderful job of portraying both sides in a way where neither was wholly to blame or blameless. They both had issues and hurts and made mistakes. I liked that this issue, one which is incredibly common but rather unspoken of, was displayed with such care. I understand why it might be too hard for some to read, or unwanted in a romance, but I appreciated the light shone here. I have really enjoyed this series and highly recommend all three books to romance readers.

I loved the undeniable chemistry and romance between divorced Chicago attorneys Grant Lincoln and Aubrey Gates. The well crafted story moved seamlessly between their points of view and I went through the whole gamut of emotions on their road trip to Boston for Thanksgiving and her grandmother's 90th birthday. I highly recommend "Then Came You" and look forward to reading more from this gifted author.

This story started off rough for me. Aubrey drove me crazy; I found her whiny and a little irritating, but on my that left me with all kinds of feels as the secrets began to come out. Both Aubrey and Grant were so broken over their shared history and struggling so much. Both trying to cope in their own way, which was absolutely opposite of the other’s way. They fought so hard and grew so much in their grief to find their second chance at happily ever after. Wow!
