About the Author
Alicia Ann Clair is a professor, division director of music education and music therapy, and a faculty affiliate of the gerontology center at the University of Kansas. She serves as a research associate at the Eastern Kansas Veterans Administration Health Care System in Topeka, KS. Dr. Clair is a clinical researcher and practitioner with specialties in dementia, geriatric rehabilitation and wellness. Jenny Memmott is a graduate student in music therapy at the University of Kansas. During her music therapy clinical training, Ms Memmott has worked with older adults, hospice patients and their families, and individuals with developmental disabilities.
