I usually use Vaseline for my lips as it does not irritates my lips. Its hard to find tin ones like these in stores so i decided to order them online. Needless to say, these are not the same ones you would buy here in the USA. This melts easier with heat and makes it almost feels like sticking your finger in solidified bacon fat. It dries my lips and irritates my lips even more and what makes it worse is that it has a slight rubber smell to it.

Would not recommend.

This UK version of cocoa butter lip therapy is different from the USA version. I love the USA cocoa lip therapy. This one is thin, not as moisturizing, and leaves a nasty chemical taste in my mouth. It's got a bunch of extra chemical ingredients listed, too. I had no idea when I purchased it I was actually purchasing such a different product from what comes in the little tubs.

I usually use regular Vaseline in the jar for my dry lips in the morning--it was the only thing that worked while I was on Accutane and I still stick by it post-treatment--but I needed something smaller than the usual jar for my vacation flight (TSA guidelines, no liquids/gels over 3.4 oz, etc.). Loved the retro design, the cute size (larger than a half-dollar coin but holds more than enough for a 1-2 week trip), and worked like a dream (just like the usual stuff). Only drawback: it was incredibly difficult to pry the lid off each time I wanted to open it up. I ended up very lightly balancing the lid on top rather than popping it closed all the way during the course of my vacation--I left it in the room I was staying in since I used it only once or twice a day, but for those who are looking for something to put in your purse or pocket, expect an epic struggle on removing the lid.

So I read tons of reviews before FINALLY purchasing this. I read things like how the lid was too tight, too costly for the amount, etc etc.

Honestly, I think that for the period of times it would last (at least for me), it was quite worth it. As for the lid, it was absolutely fine, I have no issues opening it.

The delivery was great, in fact they delivered it before the mentioned date.

Overall, a really good shopping experience! :)

Wanted 2 try a different lip balm so ordered these. They are very runny and had to apply using a brush I will be putting in the fridge for a while to thicken up. Then it will be far better to apply. Other than that it's ok but nothing at all like the nivea products.
