This is a genuinely brilliant book for anyone who has experienced situations or circumstances that create PTSD, and are looking to not just come back to "normal" but who want to go forward and thrive. This book is also an extraordinarily valuable tool book for those who lives with or works with those individuals. I recommend Karl, his work or this book with the highest possible praise and respect.

There is no 'D' in PTSD is by far the most current & up to date reference which gives the reader a blow by blow account and a very clear understanding of this oftentimes extremely condition, as it's only when you understand the condition you can take it on and win.. this amazing book could only be written by someone who has themselves been greatly affected by the condition itself and who has overcome it and who has then gone from strength to strength.. each chapter is content packed and in my sincere & professional opinion Karl Smith is by far the most inspiring and yet humble man hypnotist - Hypnotherapist & international trainer and CEO of the UKHA I have had the pleasure of friending I look forward to working with and training within this coming new year.

A very apt name for a book that shows you DO NOT have to live with trauma. It is not a life sentence and there are numerous ways to assist anyone who has suffered from a bad trauma. Not just emergency services, this book is written in a way that the reader can understand easily that there is help available to look at trauma from a completely different view point and get on with living your life.
A must read for anyone who has experienced any type of trauma and wants to move on from it
I really want to write a 5* positive review given the subje t and authors desire to improve others lives but I just can't.
The bottom line is that explanations of the different treatments available and explanations of PTSD are freely available online. I was expecting to find some techniques and advice to help. I didn't find this very helpful a book. I also found that the book felt like promotional literature for various therapists plugging their contact details on every chapter. I just hope my colleague finds it beneficial in their recovery.
