I recently upgraded from a 10-year-old regular to this large. TOTALLY worth it. The print is fun!!
One note. I was crazy disappointed with the pillow when it arrived. It looked so limp! So non-fluffed! I left it out of its package, uncompressed, to "loft," for DAYS. It did nothing. I shook it. I punched it. I tenderly asked it to perk up a bit. Still nothing. I placed it next my hubby's same size (large) pillow purchased 3 years ago. DEFINITELY the new one was wimpy. I threatened to return it. Then I actually read the tag and washed it, running it through the dryer with a tennis ball like I do my down things. BINGO, fluffy pillow. Make sure you wash it, people. :)

*Edited because picture 1 and 2 were switched.
The weight difference is only 2oz, but the real difference in size is about 1.5 inches wider and longer. The thickness is just about the same, but like others have mentioned, the small denim color is denser, giving it a slightly firmer feel. I'm not sure if the other colors in small are firmer, or just the denim. I really like both, but will probably use the small more often. I'll keep both, since they're cheap enough to have a backup or loaner.
Note, I did not wash these, as others have said! I just fluffed them for about 30 seconds.
As a couple of other reviewers have mentioned, the stitching in a couple places looks a bit sketchy (last picture), so I'll probably refrain from machine washing them unless it's a last ditch type of situation. Still, I believe they'll hold up if you're gentle with them. Also, I had to untie and re-tie the compression cord, because it was too tight to allow for easy rolling, and was leading to some fabric stretching and stress on the stitching. It seems much easier to roll and compress now.
I put this pillow through a 21 day camping trip where I had to pavk and unpack every single day. It's materials held up very well, including the seemingly sketchy drawstring, used for keeping the pillow compressed, that I expected to have problems with! It's comfortable too, if you give it time to regain its composure-- let the pillow sit a while after you fluff and unroll it. Washing it after my 21 day trip actually made it more fluffy than before, so I recommend giving it a wash if you're not in a hurry like I was.
As far as keeping it clean during my 21 day trip, I found that the decorative colorful portion of the pillow material does catch dirt easily. Try to keep dirt and foliage away from it and you'll be ok. I super recommend this product.
