I really, really like the Therm-a-Rest Compressible pillow. The fact that you can cinch it to adjust the firmness is key. That really allows the user to customize it to their preferred firmness. The entire pillow is machine washable and can go in the dryer. In fact, that's what Therm-a-Rest recommends to fluff it up and it really does help. I purchased the size regular and think it's a great combination between "big enough to sleep on" yet small enough to pack down. Some might think the size is a little big for a backpacking trip when rolled up but that's a matter of preference and how minimalist you want to be. I don't like inflatable pillows as they feel "fake" IMO so the Therm-a-Rest Compressible pillow is great. I'll be ordering more for my family members.
