With the various video reviews between the two, they seem to go back and forth as to which is better so my numbers may be within the margin of error.
However, one thing for sure is GCE is HALF the price, so I would thus recommend it over KE.
I used to recommend KE, but no longer. Also, the spread difficulty of GCE is the same as KE, so they seem to be made similar. These are clearly to the best pastes on the market, I just need to get used to and figure out the best spreading method since these pastes are more "gummy" like in consistency. Tried warming up, and maybe it helped a little, but didn't seem too great with the KE anyway, didn't try the GCE yet doing that.
Now onto the review.
Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme in most consumer use case or general overclocking scenarios performs marginally better than standard Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut such as air cooling, AIO or even custom loops, but read on.
Although my temperatures did reduce by roughly 1°-2° Celsius at idle or under 100% stress test load in comparison to standard Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut which might appear to insubstantial to some, what isn't insubstantial is how quickly it was able to dissipate heat overall no matter the load, before, during and after the fact. It's quite efficient!
I'll explain why this matters to even the average user. Although I tend to heavily overclock my systems, so it's an obvious benefit for me to utilize extremely high end thermal compounds, in many ways, it's just as beneficial for a standard user.
In terms of gaming, you will maintain a higher average core clock speed on the CPU and GPU, because of how efficient Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme dissipates heats. Think of it this way....
When in a usual gaming scenario, you're not constantly involved using the maximum 3D clock speeds, no matter the game. In this day and age, Nvidia GPU clock speeds are variable unless you force voltage. So, that being said, throughout your gaming session, you're in the in game menus, options menus, pre-game lobbies etc. When this happens, the graphics card automatically lowers the variable clock speed.
In this scenario, when this occurs, there's a shocking amount of heat that gets dissipated using Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme. This is where Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme is worth every penny. Your GPU and CPU clock speed averages will be substantially higher, because of how effective it is as heat dissipation.
Although I utilize Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme in my overclocked gaming desktop, where I was most impressed was when I applied this to my sons CPU/GPU within his Asus TUF 15F 3060 gaming laptop. His overall temperatures were reduced dramatically (+- 12° Celsius difference) and his average core clock speeds went up by +- 15%. So it's quite clear that if you're using this in more extreme thermal conditions where efficient thermal dissipation is key to performance, it's going to perform extremely well.
If you're an advanced overclocker like myself, it's a no brainer and I surely don't have to explain to you why using this will serve you well, but for the average user I felt that explanation was important, as they might not fully understand why high end thermal compounds are beneficial to them.
When I water cool it later this week I plan on using this stuff again. It just works better than whatever it comes with.
If you are considering trying a Thermal Pad vs Thermal Paste: Please Read
So my Base test is a Ryzen 9 3900X (not OC'd) cooled using a Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360P AIO and an IC Cooling Graphite Thermal Pad. Here is the IC Cooling Thermal Pad: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08BL3SCWH/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_EYAN2WXM5GZ0Q1VVTDXK?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Now with this setup I idled around 42 - 46 C and Under Full Load maxed out at around 84 - 86 C. So Now to the Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme. Here I upgraded my Ryzen 9 CPU to the Ryzen 9 5900X. Now both the Ryzen 3900X and the Ryzen 5900X have the same TDP of 105W but I understand they are different CPU's. However, with the Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme Thermal paste on the 5900X (Not OC'd) with the Same Cooler Master ML360P AIO I achieved 39 - 42 C at idle and 74 -76 Under Load! Huge Difference!
Application is a tad trickier than "traditional" thermal paste or the non Extreme version of the Grizzly Kryonaut Thermal Paste, but should not stop anyone who has applied other thermal paste to CPU's before. With this Thermal Paste it is "stickier" than the many others I have used and pink, but not impossible to spread across the CPU. It sort of cakes up once spread initially after it has left the syringe. So use one of the 2 supplied Spreading Heads attached to the syringe and simply start towards one side of the CPU and slowly depress the syringe and move the spreader until the entire CPU Lid is covered in as thin of a layer of Paste as you can apply (it IS NOT Conductive). The included Manual showed how to apply it and I simply looked it the directions first and applied it without issues.
Value for the money depends on how you think in terms of costs associated with building high end rigs. Some parts just cost a lot. Here the amount of Thermal Paste in that Syringe is good for 2, TOPS, CPU Installs. They could have given you a little more than they did. But hey it works Great and for $20 something Bucks, my CPU is MUCH cooler than with a Thermal Pad so I am happy.
My Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme Thermal Paste was Verified Authentic on Thermal Grizzly's Site for Authentication Verification. Mine was sold by DS-Distribution. No Issues.

Das Auftragen mit dem Applikator ist Kinderleicht.
In meinem high-end System (Ryzen 9 5950X auf 4,9GHz Standarttakt mit Asus Ryujin 360 AiO Kühlung) ist die CPU Temperatur um 5-6 Grad (im Durchschnitt) gefallen - im Vergleich zur Arctic MX-4.
Würde sie jederzeit wieder Kaufen!
Application is difficult as the paste is very thick. Spreading it over ihs is a tough job due to its viscosity. It has the viscosity of atta dough 😂. And the pea sized dot in the center of cpu method will not work and has to be spread. The included instructions also mentions to spread it instead of dot or cross method.
Overall a good thermal goop but i would recommend regular kryonaut ,arctic mx5 or noctua instead of this only because of its application difficulty.
Bubblegum pink color is a good change from the grey color of other pastes. Wish it smelled like bubblegum too 😁
Edit after running benchmark tests: performance wise its exactly the same with no temp difference between this paste and regular kryonaut 😑.
Tested on Ryzen 7 3700x overclocked to 4.8Ghz. Cooling provided through Corsair capellix elite 240 AIO running in balanced mode.
Tested using cinebench 23 for 30mins custom test. Max temp reached was 74c.
