    I liked that it actually kept my temps cooler, without my NVME would easily push to 120°F with cooler my NVME topped at 102°F.I loke that is was small enough to fit UNDER my CPU air cooler but having it just above my 2070 Super may not have been the best spot, not much I could do there as the 2nd NVME spot was taking by another SSD.For me I'm not able to hear that tiny fan roar as when I'm gaming I have my 140's and 120mm's at full speed.My build is in a NZXT H510 case, X570 Aorus Elite Motherboard, Ryzen 5 5600x, EVGA 2070 Super, 64GB Corsair Vengeance, two Thermaltake 14 High Static Fans, three 120mm corsair RGB fans, one cooler master Hyper 212 RGB, 5 of SSD's 2 being NVME's.     Backplate of my GPU makes my NVMe so hot that my pc shutdown and kicked me out to the bios screen after reboot. Replaced the motherboard heatsink with this and temps were incredibly low with the fan on I was getting 35C on idle. but the lowest speed of the fan is still too loud and kinda annoying. It's too small to replace with anything from Noctua, since Noctua doesn't make 30mm fans. So I just unplug the fan. Still getting good temperatures. will look into adapting a 40mm noctua to this cooler.

    The fan at 0% runs at around 3000rpm and it's kinda high pitch and whiney. at 100% it goes to about 6000rpm and the fan sounds less annoying, the pitch goes lower. any lower than 100 though the whine sounds come back.

    My 990 Pro was running warm using the integrated heatsink on a z790 ITX board. Swapped this in and went from idling around 64c to 45-46c. I'm using a Sugo17 with 11 fans in it, so I don't hear the little fan on this even if the case fans are running on low. Well worth the money.

    Works better than the small OEM stick on cooler that came with my enterprise system. I don't remember how much cooler, but it has kept the drive around 45C when under short bursts of heavy load.

    It was hard to argue with under $11 for a drive cooler with an active fan system.

    It seems to work as expected. I purchased this heatsink instead of spending another $50 to get an SSD with an integrated heatsink. The SSD (Samsung 990 PRO) runs at about 100F (38C) and I haven't had any issues.

    Other reviews complain about the fan making noise. Unfortunately, I ran into the same issue. Less than a month of use and the fan started making a wicked noise. Made it sound like the computer was about to take off from a runway. The noise could have been from the fan taking extra heat from my RTX40 series. Not 100% sure though.

    Thankfully it is super easy to replaced, you get a screwdriver in the package. The heatsink has four screws you can remove, pull the plate up and the fan pops put. Ordered a new 30x30x10mm 12v (voltage) fan off Amazon and it fit perfect. I upgraded to an 8000rpm base fan. (This unit comes with a 3500rpm base)

    I did flip the heat sink so the fan is on top and blows down. That way it is not pulling up heat from the GPU and instead blowing cool air down.

    Heatsink it self is nice. Dissipates heat well. Very study, does not wiggle or move while fan is spinning.

    Overall great upgrade to keep the M.2 nice and cool. Would suggest having a second fan on hand, just in case the first one goes out.
