The Xbox 360 I installed this on is still alive and running well. We also own a Xbox One but the 360 gets more usage in general. I'll probably hold on to this 360 for life since I fixed it and the story behind it. Even now I love the quality of Thermalright's heatsink and their design for the Xbox 360 is superb.

Long story short, we were scammed a 360 with RROD. After doing a reflow, and installing a RROD Fix Kit I also installed this massive GPU heatsink along with better fans. The 360 now works and hopefully this keeps the 360 from going bad. Only thing I worry about this is that supposedly CPU temps will be a little higher on average.

I purchased 2 of these TR-360 heatsinks a month ago and installed one on a 360 with the Falcon motherboard.
I installed it with an EXTREME HYBRID X-CLAMP kit. You have to do a little bending with the heatpipes so this unit will clear some capacitors. You also have to trim some of the cooling fins on one of the heatsink ends to clear some capacitors. I also cut about 1/4 inch off the end of another and crimped with pliers to clear the wind tunnel.
This sounds like a lot of work, but if you have moderate skills, it"s easy to do. The heatsink pipes bend easily, but be careful or you'll kink them. I don't know if you have to do this with other style motherboards, but you have to on the Falcon if you want your finished product to look good.
I have a smoked XCM case with blue fan and blue accent lights installed on the underside of the fins. It looks great and the fans barely run anymore. Part of this is also due to the EXTREME HYBRID X-CLAMP kit being installed also. Iv'e been playing Gears of war for 4 hours straight and still running much cooler than before. Also, I almost forgot, install your fan in the base before you put the motherboard back in! The fan will not go in once you've installed the heatsink. Don't forget to use the Arctic silver 5 on the chips.
My experience so far,tells me this heatsink is worth the money and the time it takes to install it.

I modified the fan shroud with some plexiglass to make it fit better around the main heat sink. The fans run at low speed all the time now. With a laser thermometer pointing at the center of the heatsink, I'm getting a reading of only 44 celcius during play. Still working great!

Installed it on an xbox that had RRoD previously. Did the overheating trick to make it work and immediately replaced factory heat sink with this one. Thermalright heat sink appears to be far superior than the stock one. My xbox worked fine for about two days, then I got an E79 error. Tried doing what microsoft suggests on their website to no avail. This heatsink required tweaking to make it fit.

Works better than I had expected. I paired this with the Whisper Legacy fan. Be sure to purchase a good thermal compound like arctic silver, as well as some thermal paste remover. The thermal paste that MS uses on the 360 is difficult to get off and is the consistacy of hardened gum.

I just installed this and it seems to work great but if you get this and the ram heat sinks you should know that 3 of the 4 heat sinks will not fit with the heat pipes on this heatsink.

der artikel ist ohne beschwerden und sehr schnell angekommen. die verpackung war sehr zu loben (von computer extreme), durch luftpolster und schaumstoff gut geschützt. der kühler selbst macht einen stabilen eindruck und passt auch perfekt über die ganzen chips, wiederstände usw auf dem mainboard. leider passt er nicht perfekt in die aussparungen für den kühler, was aber nach einigem probieren leicht gelingt. außerdem lässt sich die "x befestigung" nicht mit dem kühler verbinden, egal was man tut, muss aber auch nicht, da der kühler sehr gut von den schrauben gehalten wird (kein ruckeln möglich). ansonsten kann ich nur positives sagen, daher auch 5 sterne, da er hinein passt und seinen zweck sehr gut erfüllt.

P.S: in der verpackung sind bereits 4g wärmeleitpaste enthalten
