I have nothing but good things to say about his cooler. It's quiet. Much quieter than the stock cooler on the AMD FX 8530 (yes I still run this and it works for me). It drops your temps pretty significantly. I was running in the 30's-40's C at idle but now idle temps are in the teens. I can keep up with pretty much all the gaming I do with it too. It is large so you want to make sure your case can handle it. The one issue I have with this cooler is that the connection from the heat sink to the CPU seems a bit lose. I would prefer that it was a little bit tighter against the CPU but it hasn't seemed to cause any issues. The other thing that I wonder about is the size and weight of the cooler putting too much stress on the mobo due to it size maybe winding up with mobo issues later on. Unless you have a case like a lan box that Cool Master makes. Overall though I definitely recommend it.

When installing this cooler, torquing the screws as tight as possible left the fan loose in the mounting bracket and yet it was impossible to tighten any further. Idle CPU temperatures were running in the mid-40sC while peaking at over 90C. The replacement cooler is peaking at 45C while gaming. The only reason I am not returning this is that the packaging is long gone.
