Unlike most other propane grills, this one doesn't have a separate ignitor for each burner. You must first turn the knob for the second burner from the left to the ON position, then press the igniter switch to ignite that burner. Then, turn the knobs for the other burners so they ignite from the one already lit. If you screw up the sequence and turn the wrong knob(s)before pressing the ignitor switch, you will be reminded to not make that mistake again by the fireball that erupts from the grill and burns off your eyelashes and any other facial hair. Other than that unappreciated feature, I really like this grill. It works well and doesn't look nearly as cheap as it is.
