This album is an absolute essential if you are a long time Moby fan. With it's punk, electronica and modern bass mixtures, it definitely is a very interesting album. It reminds you of little of every genre of music he has produced. It does give a feeling of anger, disappointment, and expressionism, but with it's overwhelming themes, uplifting choruses and catchy bass rhythms it has reminded me of why I have listened to Moby of the last 20+ years with great enjoyment.
I have been a fan of Moby for years now... from when he evolved beyond just a DJ making people dance. With this new album, Moby has continued to evolve... now he has put out a great rock album... but, it is still Moby at its core. I love this!
Moby is such a chameleon with his style and sound. His latest album is a reminder of that. It's hard to categorize this style of music on this album. Let's just say that after the 2016 US election, I'm listening the hell out of this album.
Full on mental hardcore here... absolutely brilliant and essential album for longtime fans, seeing a throwback of sorts to the Animal Rights album but brought into a full 21st century vision of a future that we may not be around to witness.
Except for a couple of songs unmitigated noise. Sounds like a starting band and this is coming from a Moby fan. Moby do what you do best, make unforgettable music a la Destroyed
