For a debut album this is an incredibly outgoing piece of work. Most dudes want to try and make a huge splash and out a bunch of bangers and songs with no lyrics, but g-eazy did the oppositite. With the exception of "Lotta that" this album is mostly filled with bassy undertones and chill ambiant vibes which really ties into the whole cool greaser look. I think g-eazy is really coming up and will be a household name within 5 years. Also, I really respect him for putting this out without the help of a label. I'm glad he cares more abiut the quality of music rather than the number of records sold. Even if he does sign with a label eventually I hope he maintains creative control because he's got a gift for lyricism as well as producing some of his own music. He's a great artist to support and I would tell anyone to buy 2 copies of this, one for them and give one to a friend, they'll thank you later.

This is a great CD. I like the old school rappers from the 90's typically and I really liked G-Eazy. He doesn't see like he is trying to hard to be hard.... He has a really smooth style that anyone who knows how to take a puff of the green and chill will LOVE!

I'm new to G-Eazy. First heard the Far Alone remix on Shade 45, loved it, and decided to seek out a few more tracks. So far my favorite track on this album is "I Mean It" - such a cool beat/hook.

This guy right here is coming up in the world. His music is original and has a classics style sound to it. I just wish amazon also had his "Plastic Dreams" album. It was better than this one and really sounded like a merge of oldies and new form hip hop. I know that sounds weird but if you heard that album you would most likely agree.

What can I say about this album? The overall package immaculate, It's a double gatefold and artwork on the sleeves. There is also of pic or 2 of G included. I really enjoy his music. I liked his earlier stuff better but he is doing his thing. I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys white boy rap.

what a badass artist and a badass song list...i've got the album on repeat and this album has made several other friends of mine go out and discover who g-eazy is. his earlier stuff is great, but this doesn't disappoint either. if you've thought about getting it and haven't, get it.

G-eazy implamented his style into this piece with great lyrics and great beats. I own this album on cd, mp3 and vinyl. For his first studio album its fantastic. He shows character and skill. My rankings of songs going from worst to best are

Downtown love-it may not seem like his best but the production and lyrics to this song go above anything els its genius.
Far alone - fantastic piece of work well produced i love the beat and the lyrics
Almost famous
Tublr girls
Opportunity cost
Lets fet lost
These things happen
I mean it
Complete
Been on
Remember you
Shoot me down
Just believe- i feel he could have closed out the album with a better song

Worst-lotta that, i feel this way about the song because it strays from g-eazys focal point of style.

I was hearing this guys name all around in hip hop but never really tried to hear much from him. After watching an interview he did with Hot 97, I was very intrigued by his personality and his very noticable grounding. This guy is the real deal. The whole album is great but some suggestion are, I Mean It, Almost Famous, and Opportunity Costs. There's one trappy/turn up called Lotta That which I really enjoy
