My biggest complaint about the book has to do with the technical side of it. The editor did not read the book and catch the multitude of typos (usage of 'passed' when the correct word was 'past' or 'scrapping' where the word should have been 'scraping'). Seeing typos like that irritate me to no end, but once I got over my irritation, I enjoyed the story. But be warned, if you are easily bugged by that kind of problem in text, avoid this book. The further I got into the book the lazier the editor got and more errors were present.
I adore Melissa and felt for her sorrows. She is a very young woman to have endured such tragedies in her short life.
The author is highly talented and creative. I stayed perplexed but did manage did figure out part of the ending...but only a small part. I was surprised. The ending left me full of questions. I sense a sequel..perhaps? The ending is a perfect set-up for one.
The was spooky and brought the chicken out in me. I am a country bumpkin who is afraid of things that go bump in the night.
In spite of being nit picky I am enjoying the story and can't wait to finish the book.Don't let the tiny distractions keep you away. This book is definitely worth reading.
