As much as I hate writing this review, I do not see a way to contact the seller other than through a review. The board I received must be defective as other cutting boards under the Thirteen Chefs brand have stellar reviews. In short the board is very slippery and continuously shifts. The only way to make it not move is to put a towel under it. Board has zero grip. Tried different flat surfaces.
When board is on a flat surface such as granite, it is clear that board is not flat as it wobbles slightly on center of board on one side and spins on it. If I flip the board to the other side it sits slightly better, but it spins on edges and does not sit. This board is not safe for use which is unfortunate as it seems it should be better. I will most likely return it.
Other than safety and stability issues, I ordered 18x12x .75 and surface area seems sufficient, but after using this board to cut a giant watermelon (and fighting the wobbling board despite the enormous weight), I would recommend 20x15 as a minimum size, and 24x18 maybe even better. Make seems closest to hard plastic used in playgrounds, does not have any softness expected with a cutting board. Even if it is perfectly flat, I don't see how it is possible for this board not to slip on flat surfaces such as kitchen counters.
