It does have detailed maps of all of the missions and city areas with walkthroughs for everything, but unfortunately it consistently advises the player to kill opponents, even more than just knocking them out. Fans of the series know that these types of tactics really take away from the experience of being stealthy and undetected. Plus, most enemies will notice if their comrades are missing and become suspicious - something else you don't want. Killing all of the enemies in the missions will drastically shorten game time and really hurt the intended experience for you. If you're looking to just play through and finish the game as quickly as possible then this guide will certainly help you. If you want the best possible experience and the most bang for your buck with your game, you would only use this as a reference (like which areas of the city connect to other areas). The same goes for mission maps: it does provide detailed information for all missions, but the game is also designed to where you need to find the map for a particular missions before hand, usually by thievery, or simply go without and be on your own.
All in all, it's a decent guide if you just want to power through the game. If you want to be a master thief though, you won't follow it's advice.
However, I did find the overall guide helpful. Especially the overview and introduction chapters got me in the right mindset to approach most of the game on my own.
