I'm happy to give "The Thing About Forgiveness" a strong four stars. I know Jenni Lynn and was happy to read the book for her. I also told her I would do a review if she liked but I would be honest. I'm so glad I can honestly give her book a good review.
I rarely read romances. I find them formulaic and predictable for the most part. This book will keep you engaged and scrolling! Bennett is a strong female figure who makes mistakes and bad decisions. Bennett has been hurt by her parents break up.
Finding out that she made a poor choice in love devastates Bennett. She moves to Pennsylvania to start over, working in the emergency department of a hospital. Driving home on snow covered roads after a long shift changes her life when the "thing" she sees in front of her car turns out to be Jase-a lovable, little boy who has gone for a sleep walk in a storm.
Jenni hasn't written just a good love story. Physical abuse and PTSD are touched on realistically.
I am looking forward to Jenni's next book.
