they already 'get it' that this is what they should be doing in every relationship
they cherish, not 'merely' with the most important one in their lives...yet
it is so easy to not do the simple things in all the busy-ness of life.
This book would be a real eye-opener for princesses who are the people who need
this book the most (but are probably too self-involved to ever read it unless
their fed-up family and friends insist they do). For everyone else, a useful reminder!
The book has some good advice in it. There are a few gems that I resonated with. But the tone of the book feels a little bit like a rant from a guy to women who don't understand men.
Keep in mind that what men like and don't like is generalized in this book. While men have much in common, men can be quite different from one another. So some things in the book may apply to your relationship and other things may not apply.
But if you are struggling with your relationship and fighting more than normal, then this could be a good fast read to pinpoint things you may be doing that are upsetting your husband or boyfriend.
I am hoping that author's next book will be the same topic from a woman's point of view. Then I can see a couple reading both books, looking at each other and saying, whoops, I do that. Now I understand why it bugs you.
Then they can move on to a more rewarding relationship. I think women AND men should read this book.
I like this author's style and have picked up some of his other books. It's informative in kind of a real world way that is missing in a lot of these academic type books
