I hope to update this review when I find a less crappy copy of this book, but avoid the version with the black cover with money on the bottom. (See pictures)
My Grandmother actually wrote a manuscript in 1938 after Napoleon Hill wrote his original "Think & Grow RICH." She noted in her manuscript of this wonderful book of Napoleon Hill's and wrote of her DESIRE (frustrated desire, hah) to go to Tahiti. This manuscript was written during a "Lean Winter" following the Great Depression!
Think and Grow RICH is a timeless gem, which has never gone out of style! I'm thankful for such a masterpiece!
I want to recommend that this book be made compulsory reading in school for everyone in the world. How different would this world of ours be if everyone could really embrace the principles taught in this book.
I will use this book as a guide for life and I suggest you do the same.
On the recommendation of the famous Andrew Carnegie, published in the beginning of the 20th century, this book was the first definitive guide of personal achievement. The concepts presented in this book have transformed my thinking and changed my life. Everything shared in this book is based on facts gathered based on the decades of research work conducted prior to publishing this book.
The success principles described in this book are universal and these are principles of personal achievements can be applied to anything in life. This is a classic and the principles described are as relevant today as they were in the early twentieth century.
What's more, in 1937, this book was published at the time of the Great Depression and here we are in 2011-2012 right after a major financial crisis that has shaken the world and even today, these principles apply as they did at that time. At this time, everybody should read this book and draw from the 13 steps described and benefit from them. The time can not be any better than NOW to read this incredible success text book.
There are thousands of self-help books out there in the marketplace today. There are many great books that I love reading and recommend from time to time. But, as I went through some of those books I realized that there was not much in them that Hill had not already written about back in 1937. This book is the master copy of all success books. You read it once, you read them all.
