This book is never on my bookshelf, because I refer to it so often! It is my "how to do life well" guide. If you find yourself thinking that there has to be a better way to live... yes, there is! David has helped me to bust through a cycle of habitual negative self talk and thoughts. The way my life has transformed in a year has been so amazing. Not only do my physical goals now seem possible and second nature, but I love myself in a whole new way. I am my biggest fan and my own most valuable coach. I trust myself again to step out and try new things, meet new people, and create a life that makes every day exciting.

This book is amazing- a must have! It is much more than a guide to losing weight, it teaches you the most important thing in life- to have the right mindset! When you achieve this all areas of your life will benefit and grow!
I have spent years battling with my relationship with food. From counting calories and weighing food to binge eating at the weekend. This pattern continued as I didn't realise it was my emotions and thoughts that was causing this. Think Straight Lose Weight has taught me why I was sabotaging my progress and how to overcome it. I have now developed a healthy relationship with food, I eat to fuel my body rather than to make myself feel better.

David has done an outstanding job in making this book easy to follow. He doesn't just tell you what you should do, he gives you the tools to do it yourself and breaks it down step by step. Since implementing the strategies I am now full of confidence and self belief which has given me more passion and drive to lead a life I love. It's a book I will read over and over!

This is one of those books that you will constantly refer back to and read in times of need. It will never get old and you will always learn something new from it, no matter what struggles you might be facing. Yes, its specific to weight loss but you can use the exercises and strategies provided in all areas of your life which is what I love most about it. It’s a great book, easy to read, offers you with tools and strategies on how to improve your life especially if you’re stuck in your old ways, great for anyone who wants to change their negative mindset and unhealthy behaviours that are preventing them from being the best versions of themselves.

Wow is the word I would use to describe this book. It is full of incredible strategies to not only change your eating habits but to improve your whole life!
The book is clearly set out and easy to follow and as long as the activities and strategies in the book are followed you can’t fail to make life changes whatever your end goal. I would recommend this book to anyone looking to create better habits and change the way the view things for the better. David is an incredible guy with an absolute wealth of knowledge and passion and that shines through in his book.

This book has so much value and content and is more than a book about weight loss it is about mind transformation! I found the exercises and strategies extremely beneficial to improve my thoughts and mindset not only around food and weight loss but in life in general. I understand why I have adopted certain behaviours, but more importantly know how to change them. If you want to lose weight, change old habits and improve your life in general then this is THE book for you!!

I can highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to improve and thrive in any area of their life. Not only did this book provide me with the foundations for weight loss, but a concrete plan to keep the weight off by addressing the real reasons why I put weight on and why other plans have never been sustained, ending up with even more weight gain.
This book is easy to read and follow, which enabled me to create my own super plan. Each chapter inspired me to better myself. I am now more confident, more productive, experience less stress and have much more control in all areas of my life.
Such an amazing book!!!!

Amazing book which makes you really look inside yourself for the reasons for over eating/binge eating. David deals with the mindset and it is a revelation when you realise what the triggers are and what a delight when you can deal with them with the tools David gives you . Highly recommend
