Loren is a likable narrator, the situation and characters are compelling, and the thrills are believable; on the graphics side, the artwork is b&w realism and the font is clear and readable. There's nothing to dislike in this clever debut, and I look forward to others in the series.
This paperback collects issues# 1-4 of this entertaining series.
Loren is just like the rest of us. One can relate to Loren’s lack of ambition but the need to do good and help the people around him do better.
Matt Hawkins and Rahsan Ekedal co-created this series.
This has to be Hawkins’ most honest and exciting comics of his career. It’s obvious he was pieced together his Physics and Applied Science background with his 20 years of making comics to create a story he was born to tell. This comic can be easily translated into a NCIS series but would make a better animated Archer or blockbuster film.
Ekedal draws Think Tank like he has something to prove. His attention to detail and ability to tell a story is truly underrated. Each character is unique and undoubtedly mirrors the world around him. The Think Tank cast is accurately diverse and natural.
Think Tank is a skillfully and well researched military thriller that rivals any Tom Clancy or Brad Thor novel.
This paperback collects issues# 1-4 of this exciting series.
The book is in black and white, but it's very easy to tell what's going on and which character is which (not a particularly easy task when all the characters are human and don't wear outlandish superhero costumes)
In conclusion, please buy this book because this one ends with somewhat of a cliff-hanger and I'd really like to find out what happens next.
Also, this book is in black and white, if you have a problem with that, well, it's your loss.
