I love my Das Can-in-stein! Soda and beer cans fit in it perfectly. It is plastic, but feels like it is up to the task and I expect it to last a while. It does what a Steinzeugkrug should and keeps flys out of your drink, if you need it to. I like that the lid clicks shut onto the can. UPDATE- One Year In It is still unbroken and working perfectly after one year of nearly daily use, and a few drops, in a house with a toddler. UPDATE 2- Three Years In It's still going strong, though use has dropped from near daily to occasional. My toddler has turned into a big girl and enjoys using my Das Can-In-Stein. Most cans fit well, but not all(Sam '76 for example).

This thing is actually pretty awesome. Yes, it's plastic and not metal but for the price you cant beat it. Holds the can very well, fitment overall is pretty spot on. Only works with standard 12oz can but seeing as that is the norm, I don't think anyone would be disappointed in that. I almost wish it had a little more weight to it but over an extended period of use I may regret saying that. Overall its a fun little item that can be a great conversation started around the party.

Purchased as a door prize for a corporate beer tasting event and it was a huge it. Sure, it is plastic, but seems to be well constructed and a standard can fits perfectly. If you're looking for a fun, inexpensive, slightly campy beer-related gift, this is a perfect choice.

Piece of crap. Way too cheap feeling. Says it's made from "pewter-like plastic", but there is nothing pewter-like at all about this. It doesn't even for a second look like something that anyone would ever mistake for anything other than crappy cheap garbage plastic.

It's pretty fantastic. Sure it's plastic, but it looks great. There isn't a metal one on the market and who knows how much it would cost. The price is right even if you only get one Oktoberfest party out of it. Everyone was jealous of me when I showed up with it at the office Oktoberfest party with it.

I love this! It works well if you are outside and want to make sure bugs don't enjoy your drink before you do. I also use them inside just for fun. I bought one as a lark and once I used it everyone wanted one. As of this review I've now purchased 5.
