I love my Das Can-in-stein! Soda and beer cans fit in it perfectly. It is plastic, but feels like it is up to the task and I expect it to last a while. It does what a Steinzeugkrug should and keeps flys out of your drink, if you need it to. I like that the lid clicks shut onto the can.
UPDATE- One Year In
It is still unbroken and working perfectly after one year of nearly daily use, and a few drops, in a house with a toddler.
UPDATE 2- Three Years In
It's still going strong, though use has dropped from near daily to occasional. My toddler has turned into a big girl and enjoys using my Das Can-In-Stein. Most cans fit well, but not all(Sam '76 for example).
