Charge holding capacity decreases 50% after one year

When I first received my order in June 2012, I was thrilled the first few months of using it with my SL400. With normal internet browsing and email, initially the full charge will last more than 3hrs. It was exceptional to be honest. However, starting from May 2013, the charge capacity has been decreasing tremendously. At 100%, for same normal browsing and email, it lasts about half the time. The decrease is so noticeable. During the first six month of receiving this battery, I can finish a two hours online flash movie and still have about 10~20% left. Now, I can barely make it over 1 hour mark. I'm afraid the performance degradation of this battery from now on will be steep. I don't really expect the decrease in charge capacity happens so fast but it is happening. I charge it up 100% daily and unplug it when using it. So at the beginning is about 3~4 charge per week. Now I've to charge it daily. Will see how much longer it lasts.

Update: The company contacted me via email to offer the replacement since the product is still under warranty. I received the replacement promptly and it works great. They also provide a mail back label for me to return the original item, that is very thoughtful. The return process is smooth and painless. Although the original product degrades sooner than I expect, the company stands behind their product and warranty. Thumbs up to the management. Have no fear to do business with them.

The Battery Will Not Take A Charge

I purchased this battery two months ago (January 2, 2014). It was working fine, although it did not hold a charge for very long (2 to 3 hours). I left my computer connected to its charger while I was away for a short vacation. When I returned, the battery was discharged. I tried a different charger, and checked the charger connections. It will not take a charge.
This is a follow up review to an earlier review that I had submitted. I cannot return the battery because I have exceeded the order return window.

This is an update to my earlier review. I received a timely response from AnkerDirect, which gave me some troubleshooting suggestions. I tried these and the battery was then able to take a charge. The charge lasts for about two hours, which usually meets my needs. In my case, it seems that if I leave the laptop connected to a charger for an extended time (a weeks vacation), when I return the laptop has no charge and I must repeat the troubleshooting steps that were provided earlier.

DOESN'T fit Lenovo T61 12 inch x 7.5 inch screen size version

The product description says this battery will work for a wide variety of laptops, including the Lenovo T61. The label on the battery I received said it only replaces a "T60" battery, and it doesn't come close to fitting my T61. Amazon customer service online chat was great however, and I will be sending the battery back for a refund.
For those who own a T61 laptop, here are the screen dimensions of mine: 12-inches x 7.5 inches, 14-inches diagonal. Maybe your version has a different screen size, and this battery will fit.
I received a telephone call from a very nice person at LaptopMate, and she tried to help me find the correct version battery. Because of her great customer service I am adding two stars to my review.

Works well, not an exact fit for the Z60M

I have used this for about a week, and it seems to work well. I got it for the Z60m, and it does fit that laptop and has the right voltage and power specs, but the fit is not ideal. It is definitely usable, and I will be happy with my purchase if the battery last a good while. But do be aware that on this ThinkPad model, this battery stick out the back with a rectangular shape when the contour of the laptop there is curved. Also, the battery lock is a little tough to engage but does click in. I'm not referring to the types of batteries that are designed to stick out because they are high-capacity batteries. This one is probably actually designed for the T60/61 and similar ThinkPads but also happens to work on the Z60m. I bought it knowing this was probably the case since I had tried a T60 battery in my Z60m before. I purchased it anyway b/c I have had good success w/ Anker batteries, and I felt it was the best product for the price.
