I bought this song for my wife. Our daughter told us about the song several months ago and my wife fell in love with it. It’s a nice song that seems to be headed for Classic status. We’ve seen Ed Sheeran on TV several times doing the song and it’s a crowd favorite. Nice melody and lyrics, if I think about the song the “Darling I will be loving you till we’re seventy” will be stuck in my head the rest of the day.
The first time I ever heard this song, I loved it! I can remember this young red-haired kid on the Grammy Award Show. The song was suttle, and just a nice typical love song that came across as striking. It had to be that raspy voice.
And, if you have never seen the video, it is icing on the cake!
Ed does a beautiful contemporary dance with a young woman. I love dance, and I love dance to beautiful music. So, the song is beautiful love song, the video is beautiful dance! What a winner in this talented young kid! Rizzo
As there is virtually no musical group for which I would buy entire album of music, I can find myself listening to a wide variety of artists. Most specifically everyone's music choices are there own. This happens to be one of mine.
It's "our" song. If I had an "our". I can see this song being played at Weddings. It's amazing that such a "young" artist wrote and recorded this song because it's so beautiful and talks about everlasting love. If I ever get married again I'd like this song to play at my wedding. It really speaks to the heart.
