This 3 thrd grade spelling journal will help my daughter organize her spelling assignments, as well as help me follow up with her progress each week. One thing I particularly like about this journal for kids is that I can use it as a keep sake for when she is older. I think it will be enjoyable to look back over her school work at the end of the year and see how much she has progressed in her handwriting as well as her spelling. Also, this book reinforces third grade math as well with the various math operations included throughout the book. I highly recommend this book to parents and students alike.

My daughter really liked doing her vocabulary practice in this workbook. Third graders, such as my daughter, are expected to continue in their learning and progress in their education. Children must meet guidelines in order to stay on grade level. At the end of each successive school year children in elementary school will have learned to spell yet another 750 words. This journal allowed me and my daughter to organize this very important milestones of the her learning experience, as well as to easily preserve it for years to come. This 320 page journal includes blank sheets on which my daughter could practice writing her spelling words daily. Each week of school is numbered and includes sheets enough for her to write her spelling words 4 consecutive days a week. This book includes a fun activity on each page that my daughter looked forward to completing every time. For more practice, we also use Beestar vocabulary program (a wonderful website beestar.org). It starts with well-explained new words, and then follows by ten challenging multiple-choice questions. It also has crossword puzzles and vivid articles to fill in missing words. My daughter likes it a lot. In the Beestar online tests, she is ranked high in the honor roll. She's already seeing how the techniques help her in her normal vocabulary work. She is now probably the top student in her class. I’m very pleased with this book.
