I am surprised noone has reviewed this book yet. Jenney's is the VERY BEST series to learn latin, and also ideal for self-study (if you get the teacher's guide with all the answer keys). Volume 2 takes you all the way to Bellum Gallicum by J. Cesar, which is not a small achievement - but it is the 3rd and 4th year volumes, where your studies bear fruit. The 3rd year book focuses on latin prose and has 380 pages latin text with footnotes and commentary and a few illustrations. Cicero orations, speeches and letters, Sallus, Pliny and even a bit Ovid thrown in for good measure. There also is a 36-page section in "later latin" (from the fall of the Roman Empire to about 1400 AD) which you won't find anywhere else. Appendix has a complete grammar and vocabulary section.
This book contains so much more material than could possibly be read in class room in a single year and is well worth its money.
