Well to be sure, I am biased since my ancestors, the Montclair Cranes, are the featured cookbook for New Jersey, but that being said, I have given these as gifts and with Thanksgiving approaching, I continue to get requests for dishes contained in this cookbook. Not only are the recipes inviting, but the stories about the various people and their challenges of the day are both enlightening and inspiring. Just look at the kitchen on the cover to understand what I mean.
