This is a series that touches on your emotions. There are many aspects of the police procedures that I can't imagine are done in real life but the rest of it, in terms of how the victim and her family and friends would react in such a horrific situation, seem true. The ending is rather weak if not a cop out but overall, this is very worthwhile series.

The acting of Jodie Comer as the victim is spellbinding. I cannot believe she didn't win the BAFTA for it. She is so believable, and seems so young to be so good. You would swear she is in her mid 30s with what she gives the screen. This girl should end up with a room full of awards by the time she is done her career. Other impressive parts of hers have been in Doctor Foster, the White Princess, and now Killing Eve. It shows the difference in skill between British actors and American stars.

Everyone raved about Sandra Oh in Killing Eve, and she got an Emmy nomination out of it, but I thought that Comer not only had the more interesting part, but acted circles around Oh. And this is coming from a fellow Canadian, and a fan of Oh's!
