The book begins with Winnie turning fourteen, and she hopes her friends and boyfriend have some kind of trick up their sleeves. When they disappoint, Winnie doesn't know how to tell Lars what she really wanted. She decides to make a to-do list of things to do before high school.
Dinah gets suspended. She apparently let weird Mary put stolen makeup in her locker, but then she wouldn't take any of it back. Ty stole a penguin, so Sandra and Winnie take it back, when they run into a scary security guard. Winnie comes up with an entertaining story, and he lets them go.
Dinah's father is making her go to leadership camp. Winnie decides to go too, after finding out that Lars is going to Germany over the summer, making Cinnamon scowly.
This being my second time reading these books, why didn't Lauren Myracle write 15 16 even 17 18 19 20...I could see Winnie growing up into a amazing lady . I who's I could read it though...
