About the Author

Karen R. Kleiman, MSW, LCSW, an international expert on postpartum depression, is the founder of The Postpartum Stress Center. Her books include Dropping the Baby and Other Scary Thoughts and Therapy and the Postpartum Woman.

Valerie Davis Raskin, MD, maintains a private practice in the Chicago area. A former clinical associate professor of psychiatry at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, she also cofounded the Pregnancy and Postpartum Treatment Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. She has been honored by Postpartum Support International for her contributions to increasing awareness of emotional health related to childbearing.

Norah Tocci is a nonfiction narrator with an incurable curiosity for the human condition and how we put it to use. After leaving a diverse Silicon Valley career, Norah turned to technical narration and is now in high demand for her warm and credible delivery. She lives in the Buffalo, New York, snowbelt.
