30 is the new 50 here, lose 15 pounds, Meg! You need to be on new age social media, Meg!" From nagging agents to nagging parents, aspiring comedienne/actress Meg finds herself in a rut as she evaluates how far she is from making it big in Los Angeles.
Being an Indie Film Hustle Tribe member has had me incredibly anxious to see this film, and Alex did not disappoint. "This is Meg" is full of quirky moments, transparent humor and very colorful scenes. This is the beauty we have grown to love from Alex and it's a delight to see on film, I laughed my ass off. My favorite scenes were the interactions between Meg and her best friend's girlfriend, the delivery guy and the tea party! Thank you Alex for being a damn fine mentor and always so transparent with your guidance and opinions on breaking into and making the film industry a viable and plausible venture for damn near anyone, we love your heart! I enjoyed the film and was kinda sad when it was over, I feel like it could have been a series and would have loved to see more adventure with Meg and crew. The music was also a very nice touch, soft, yet gentle enough, wrapped around beautiful vivid imagery. Thank you for your heart and for your gift of "This is Meg".
It feel like I've been waiting forever to see "Meg" and now that I have, I was not disappointed! Great cast, with outstanding performances, heartfelt story with some genuinely funny moments. Worth the wait.
