Nina Mohadjer has written a wonderful book that chronicles her thoughts and observations with regard to being a relatively new citizen of the United States and the joys and challenges of being a single mother. She was born in Iran in 1970, raised in Germany, and came to the Unites States in 1993. Her tri-cultural journey is not only truly amazing, but inspiring as well.

She is a tireless advocate of Women's rights - not only in this country but in her native Iran as well - and has written extensively and passionately on the subject. If you want to understand why immigrants are - and always have been - so essential to America's soul, just look to Nina Mohadjer for inspiration. Her story is an example that can light the darkest American night.

This Mother's Life should be read by men and women alike. I loved it.

This Mother's Life

I really enjoyed this book. Once I started reading it, I could not put it down. This book made me laugh and cry. In some parts of this book I felt like I was re-living my own life. Nina has taken the life of a single mom with two girls and described it in a way that all single moms can relate. This book truly touches the life of every single mom in one way or another.

Nina is a warm and loving woman, and a very dear friend. Even though we are miles apart, I feel like she is right next door. She truly cares about everyone and is there to listen and lend an ear.

I am looking forward to reading Nina's next book.

I bought this book and read it. Normally a supermodel with a PHD is threatening, but this double law and MBA exotic beauty lets down her guard and lets you in to see her humanity, passions and humor. Each chapter offers keen insight into the mind of an intelligent and candid woman that any man would find priceless. There is the day to day trials that all people go through, but Nina brings to the table a natural humor and sexy undertone of a modern woman.

I found This Mother's Life and open and honest story about a mother's happy and not so happy moments in life. Despite all the negativity, she still finds happiness in the simple things, like her children. I have found Nina's story, sadly, a common one these days, but she has a talent for expressing it in a honest, amusing way...
It was a good read :)
