Wow! I bought and enjoyed the second Adebisi Shank album, but it didn't blow my socks off like this one. This one should bring them into the ears of many more people. I can see some of their music being used in commercials and films. There's a real anthemic feeling to some of the tracks. Victory songs! There's so much going on, but it's very cohesive on this album. This is a true headphone album. You will catch all the little nuances they toss in each song with a nice set of cans. I think some people are going to make Anamanaguchi references to describe their sound for this album. I get that vibe right out of the gate, but they have so much more to offer. Each song is radically unique. This one will be in my vinyl rotation for quite a while I imagine.

Great album. That said, it feels sort of tossed together, which isn't bad because the individual songs are good. Has more of a feel of Lar Kaye's solo stuff. It's a shame that it's their last.
Favorite tracks: Thundertruth, Sensation, (trio always)
