Great romance collection

This is a great collection of four romance stories centered around one wedding. Although all of the stories are good, my favorite is Shawntelle Madison's ”The Maid of Honor: Lovers in Lockdown”. One click now, and settle in you will not be disappointed. I could not put the book down until I finished the whole book; I was exhausted the next day but it was totally worth it.

Fun, Sexy and Light

This Wedding is Doomed is actually four linked stories by four terrific authors, each featuring different players in a single wedding day. The first story, The Wedding Planner: Flirting with Disaster by Amanda Berry was my favorite. This story features a tightly wound VERY organized wedding planner who finds herself challenged by the proverbial "drunk uncle"...it's pretty fun, and kicks off the series well, introducing us to all the other players. The second story is The Maid of Honor: Lovers in Lockdown by Shawntelle Madison and features the bride to be's sister Renata, the maid of honor, and her long time best friend, Max. Renata is making important decisions about her future--and those decisions are pushing Max to make some of his own. A wine cellar, a door that locks too easily...what could go wrong? Next up is The Other Woman: Sex, Lies and Karmic Catastrophe by Stephanie Draven. This is the story where you find out WHY this wedding might actually be doomed. Featuring the Best Man and a blast from his past, we learn that karma has a twisted sense of humor...and that everyone responds to heartbreak in different ways. This one was a lot of fun and had some twists and turns I really enjoyed. Finally, we have The Bride: Love on the Run by Jeannie Lin where we finally get some quality time with the Bride...and her caterer. I loved this one. The characters had great chemistry, and there was still humor, even in a challenging situation. And of course cake. You can't go wrong with really great cake! This four story set was really enjoyable, and was a fairly quick read. This would be great beach reading or for vacation....or for when you need a vacation!

An epic combo of inter-related wedding stories that will make you laugh out loud!
It's the collective story about the couples of ✓Stark opposite nature (The Wedding Planner and The Divorce Lawyer) Julie wants everything to be perfect on the big day. Seth lives to bring chaos in weddings. This uptight planner is taken for a wild ride by the aloof lawyer. Read their story to find how opposites not only attract each other but can be quite good together.
✓Friends to lovers (Maid of honor and The Officiant)
Renata and Max have always been friends. But Max wants more. When they are trapped in the wine cellar hours before the wedding, they explore their chemistry. But Ren is leaving town for her dream job but Max is a stable man. How will he get her to see his true feelings?? Read this swoon-worthy friends to lovers story
✓Second chance (The Best Man and The Wedding Singer)
Blake and Penny were high school sweethearts. Even after she ditched him, the attraction is still there. But when he learns that she is the one who slept with groom just months before he asks her to leave. Penny cannot believe that Blake the nice guy had turned to such a man so as to side the groom in deceiving the bride. Find out how this long lost couple find their way back together along with finding their original version of truly who they are.
✓Runaway bride (The Bride and ???)
The main lady of the wedding, the bride, Tessa hasn't felt good since she were engaged. It was as if she wanted to settle for the groom. All she ever did was to please others for their happiness sake. She flees the wedding scene with another man. With him she finds the true self and all her mistakes. Also she eventually learns the truth about the groom's cheating affair. It's just not the end of her doomed wedding but a beautiful beginning where she doesn't have to blame herself and to do things to please others. Just read to find out whom the bride chose.

Seriously Wonderful Compilation...

Wow! It's a Seriously Wonderful compilation of interwoven stories, & there's only a few common threads... the BIGGEST amongst them being the SAME DOOMED WEDDING!! Which is closely followed by some seriously HOT, Decadently, Handsome Males! Mmm, it's Deliciously Yummy!! Clever Humour & Hijinks abound in this witty 4-book tale!
This compilation contains four Novella-length stories that'll surely please your senses with hours of glorious reading... Ohhh, My! It just might be too much for some readers to complete in one session without causing some singeing of the fingertips or melting of your favorite device!!
I was granted an ARC of Amanda Berry, Stephanie Draven, Jeannie Lin, & Shawntelle Madison's "This Wedding is Doomed!" via Booksprout; I recommend this compilation to others based upon its own merits. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given!

Such a fun and original read!

I really enjoyed this book, it was original in the way it was done and was such a lot of fun to read. The whole book is devoted to the few hours leading up to a wedding but is separated into four distinct but ultimately connected stories. Each author takes one story featuring one or more of the key characters at the wedding and how that particular story could lead to the wedding being doomed. There’s fun, chaos and romance in each one and they are all a joy to read. It’s one of those books that could very easily be turned into a romcom movie and I would love to see that done!!

I hadn’t read anything by any of these authors before but will definitely be reading more books by all of them.
