Book 1: Roulette
Sam is a wealthy divorce attorney by day and a Dominant by night. Looking for a new live-in Submissive, she meets Thomas and they quickly hit it off. Sam has built a wall around her heart and never intends to have feelings for her Sub. Thomas however causes her to start breaking all of her rules.
In addition to watching their relationship grow, Sam has to deal with a jealous law partner and threats of violence from one of her client's spouse. Not to mention Thomas' former Dom Lisa wants him back.
I really liked both of these characters. Thomas is just a sweetheart. He's so crazy about Sam and you find yourself wanting to knock her upside the head to see how special he is.
Book 2: Blackjack
Sam has uncovered some things while digging around for her client that have put both she and Thomas in danger. She's also realizing her father is involved and he isn't happy about her meddling. Thomas' ex Dom Lisa is causing serious trouble as well.
The relationship between Sam and Thomas continues to grow and he begins taking a more Dominant role on occasion. At this point, Thomas knows that Sam is the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with. He just has to convince Sam and get her to submit and stop trying to push him away.
Book 3: Poker
Thomas and Sam have come so far in their relationship. Sam has finally opened her heart and she and Thomas are more in love than ever.
In this final book, we get a conclusion to all the drama and an ending that was pretty much perfect.
Overall, I really enjoyed this series. I loved getting all three of these books together so that I could continue with Sam and Thomas' story without any interruptions. Their relationship is a hot and steamy one and we get to experience throughout how far they're both willing to push the other with their boundaries. Although it does contain some BDSM related situations, I wouldn't label it as such. I'll read more from this author.
