***spoiler alert*** I hated Jackson more than anyone. Including the villains. He was physically violent with Willow during their relationship. And she was SCARED of him in book 1. Then the author made him a main part of the series, and suddenly Willow is no longer scared and his best friend. WHAT?!? That’s messed up! Before he can attempt to redeem himself he is given his own love story in book 2 and the author makes it seem like a Logan and Willows kind of love, but then she broke them up in the very next book. Again, WHAT?!? It just gets worse after that with the way Lanier is treated by a lot of men in her life. When Lanier finally does supposedly find Mr. Right, there is very little to nothing mentioned about them. All that talk about guy #2 and her, but almost nothing about her final guy. 🤨 Seemed thrown in to finish the story. That’s not a happily ever after. Annnnnddd...there’s a little cheating. No sex, but kissing. Cheating is cheating. My opinion. I finished this series only so I could write this review accurately and honestly. Otherwise I would have stopped after book one. Will NOT read more from Mrs. Kendrick.
