It is hard to review supplements because I am not able to test whether or not each capsule has what it claims in it.Chose this daily vitamin by Thorne because Thorne has such a great reputation and is recommended by my dietician.It is amazing how one can take the same supplement by Thorne and another company, but notice a difference only with Thorne.I have been taking Thorne vitamins for years (Subscribe and Save) with no gastrointestinal issues. I take the capsule with meals. One capsule per meal until I reach 2, though sometimes I take only one a day.The capsules are about 3/4 inch long and 1/4 inch wide.If you are looking for a daily vitamin that is legit, give Thorne a try. You won't be disappointed.

Good: Decent, honest vitamin/mineral stack. Imho excessively high B12 and chromium doses, but quite good otherwise. (I say "honest" because the Thorne product does not pad its ingredient list with dozens of dubious plant extracts in doses far too small to be useful - an annoying trend in this market.) Thorne's claims of quality and bioavailability seem to be on target; I definitely notice the difference when I skip taking them for a few days.

Bad: You definitely don't want to take these on an empty stomach. I popped two immediately after I received my first order, and that was the first and last time I did so. They're easily tolerated if you take one each with morning and evening meals. Get more than an hour or so away from meal time, however, and you can count on a bout of queasiness. Price is about mid-range for similar stacks from other brands, but their claimed quality control might make it worth the higher price.

Ugly: Oh dear god, that SMELL! It isn't like B vitamins smell all that good to start with, but opening one of these bottles is like stepping into an organic chemical factory. I find it hard to believe they can't find a way to mitigate this.

Bottom line: Once you find a way to choke it down, this seems to be pretty good stuff. I definitely have more energy and focus when taking it regularly. They have to do something about the smell and taste though. Five stars, barely.

I have noticed no afternoon crash when working as I have always experienced usually when I’m working. I will continue to use. The only downside as other had mentioned was the smell. It hit me like a ton of bricks the first time I opened the packaged. Even my dogs ran over. I’ve never had smelly vitamins previously. But other than that, these are great and I will continue to take.

Overall vitamin/nutrient content is fantastic. I only take 1/day to supplement with a balanced diet. As others have stated, these smell horrible.

Biggest drawback - they are very rough on your stomach. I have an iron stomach, where nothing really makes me sick (switching alcohols, spicy foods, dairy, etc.). Even though I'm only taking 1/day and with food, I still get a solid 15 minute spurt of pure nausea to the point where if I didn't drink enough water or eat enough with it, I start to feel like I will throw up. A few times where I've taken two just exacerbates the feeling. Be sure to eat something solid and drink plenty of water before taking these. A single yogurt cup is not enough, and drinking mostly coffee without water will only make it worse.

This sounds like a mostly negative review despite the 4 stars, but the vitamin overall is doing its job! My intention is to share my experience/trade-off going with these highly rated vitamins before spending the money.

So originally I was referred to these by a trusted website prone on the topic men’s health. I myself took it upon and started taking them when I was turning 25 I am in the navy and was going on deployment I needed to make sure I was getting proper nutrition since the boat food offers none. Well a few months in I started getting really anxious all the time it was very strange, and then my mind started to race and by race I mean it was just bombarded with random thoughts some I was just like where are these coming from? I ignored all these. I kept going on with them but I started noticing something odd EVERYTIME I ran out and had to reorder there would be a few days where I didn’t have to take them because I was waiting on the next shipment. WELL I noticed I’d feel amazing and like my old self again and gone were the anxious feelings, the brain fog in the morning and the randsome depressive moments. And I just didn’t understand at the time because i was never familiar with the states of anxiety I knew of depression but anxiety was new my heart would race my breathing would kick up it was just weird!!! I read all about it and really thought it was ME but it only happened while I was taking these! The next year thru all of my 25 years of age I went through so many emotional states I just couldn’t figure out what was going on. And finally at the age of 26 in May of this year 2018 I found the source of all those “weird” feelings I would get I just thought it was strange as I went back through my journals I kept every month that I noticed the trend of diary dailies mentioning all my states of mind and my writing exposed the same things I wrote about earlier. I had tracked it all down without knowing it’s amazing what a dot journal can keep it offers astonishing insight and as a person that knows himself very well i just didn’t think these would be the cause of many of those issues THEN to top it all off I went thru each review this seller and another and here and there I found ppl reviewing and commenting that they felt “weird” some couldn’t quite point out what it was but I can! Because I was not only self aware but was tracking it all down. Now when I say that when I stopped taking these I felt wonderful would be an understatement! I felt alive when I stopped taking these multivitamins! I’m sure someone out there would explain what it is but I know that there is something in these vitamins that is not quite right and I find it extremely sinister that these get recommend to be paired with the vitamin B complex stress relief by the same brand almost as if there’s a solution to the way these make you feel. I would be very cautious of these and considered just taking what you actually need. I took these for nutritional purposes only no other reason. I cannot stress enough to be aware of these and monitor yourself while on these. I know I’m not alone as other people reported the same thing that “weird” feeling. Now I’ve never suffered from anxiety but now I know what it is. These definitely disrupt the bodies chemicals and make some unbalances that caused what they did to me. NOw I can’t speak for anyone but myself but do yourself a favor and read through these reviews and the other 3rd party seller and see what you find. Be aware and be careful.
