First let's get this out in the open, these boots tend to be a choice product of many hipsters. I chose these boots souly on the outstanding reviews saying how comfortable they are. For the last 8 years I've been a steady redwing/ cowboy boot guy on the job site... there are far from my "style" preference.
I've had these boots for about a month now and I will say directly out of the box they are instantly comfortable. I will state they are toward the snug side at first. A slight pressure nothing unbearable on the top of my foot but if you buying steel toes clearly you work a harder style job and can suck it up. After the less then a week break in period I am thoroughly sold on these boots. 14hr days on my feet in quarries, on concrete floors and walking steel I've yet to find a terrain that has made me question my purchase.. comfort is king in these boots.
Only true draw back I've found so far is and to me this was personally my fault was if you step in water your feet will get wet... and they are not warm. I usually buy new boots every 6mnths to a year and can tell in the first month how they are going to last. I will state now if your a inside fab shop guy you will absolutely love these hands down no questions asked.
Leather work and craftsmen ship is top notch
Break in time (a few days of that)
Not water proof
Not insulated for cold days outside
I could see these being troublesome in mudd(haven't experienced that yet)
Personal: overall look bothers me but I bought them for comfort
